SHIPPING / RETURN / PRIVACY POLICY

SHIPPING POLICY

PLEASE NOTE-We use a variety of shipping carriers (UPS, USPS). If your address is not deliverable by a particular carrier, please call our customer service department (503 253 2000) after placing your order. Shipping charges for orders returned as undeliverable will be charged to the customer.

Shipping Methods

We currently offer three shipping options:

Standard Ground
Shipped via either UPS or USPS Priority Mail. Delivery occurs in 1 to 7 business days after processing.

Expedited (UPS 2-Day)
Delivery occurs 2 business days after processing.

Overnight (UPS 1-Day)
Delivery occurs the next business day after processing.

Orders typically ship within 3 Business Days from the time they begin processing, pending availability and credit card verification.

Orders placed Monday-Friday before NOON PST will begin processing that day (excluding holidays).

Orders placed after NOON PST will begin processing the next business day.

Orders placed after NOON PST on Friday will begin processing the following Monday.

Two-day and overnight orders are given top priority. Orders with these shipping methods will ship the same day (pending product availability and credit card approval) if ordered before NOON PST. After Noon PST they will ship the next business day.

We will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock.

If there are any problems with your shipment, please contact Customer Service within 48 hours of receipt.

Refusal of Delivery

If you refuse delivery of your order, and it is returned to our warehouse you will receive a refund for the merchandise, but shipping charges plus the charges back are non-refundable.

RETURN POLICY

What is your return/exchange policy?

We stand behind our products 100 percent. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase within 45 days of the sale, contact customer service at 503-253-2000 to make arrangements for a return or exchange. Customer service will get your contact information, gather information about the original sale, and determine the reason for return or exchange. At that point you will be assigned an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and will be given instruction on how to ship the product back to us. Any parts that have been used, modified, painted, cut, bent, or otherwise rendered unsaleable will not be eligible for any refund or exchange credit.

Some custom-made parts, custom color matched & painted parts, or parts modified by us per your request will not be eligible for return or exchange unless they do not meet the requirements of the custom specification.

We will only pay return shipping charges if we sent the wrong item, or the item sent was defective. If you are making an exchange because you would like a different size, style, or color, you will be charged for shipping on your exchange.

We will not be responsible for, or reimburse, shipping charges incurred if you do not ship using the method specified by customer service.

How should I ship my return or exchange?

Pack and seal your box securely, in the original package if possible. To be properly processed, your return shipment must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number clearly written on the outside of the box, or as part of the mailing label. You will be issued an RMA number by customer service when you call to arrange the return.

When will my credit card be refunded?

Once your package has been received, your refund or exchange will be processed within 3-5 business days. If there is a refund due, a credit will be issued in the original form of payment. Depending on the time elapsed, it may be necessary for us to contact you for the original payment information, as we do not keep any credit card data on file. If we have trouble contacting you it may delay your credit, so please be sure and provide good contact information when you call. The credit may not show up until your credit card's next monthly billing cycle. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your order when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us.

How do I return a defective product?

We want you to be 100% happy with everything you purchase from Simplicitytool.com. You may return any item within 45 days of purchase, so please be sure to inspect your product as soon as possible after it arrives. For damages, please contact customer service immediately by calling (503) 253-2000. If damaged items are returned without calling for authorization, return shipping will not be refunded.

RETURN POLICY

All returns must be pre-authorized by Simplicity Tool Corporation. Please call or email for an RMA#.

Returns of product that were shipped in error by Simplicity Tool Corporation will be accepted for full credit including original freight charged.

Returned product that was shipped correctly will be assessed up to a 25% re-stocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount credited. Freight will not be refunded.

Prefinished Product Warranty

122E and 121E

These corners are NOT galvanized for Rust Protection. The material used has either an EG (electrogalvanized) or Galvanneal coating for paint and stain bonding. The zinc layer provided by these processes is not sufficient to prevent rusting by itself. When using a latex based paint, the corners should be primed first with an appropriate corrosion resistant primer to avoid flash rusting. Simplicity Tool Corporation makes no express or implied warranty against rust when using this or any other product.

Off Stud Joiners and Aligning Clips

These parts ARE galvanized for Rust Protection. We use G-90 (the heaviest zinc coating available to us) galvanized steel, which is then primed for paint adhesion. Despite these two coatings, these parts are designed to be painted after application. Premature rusting can occur if additional protection is not applied. Simplicity Tool Corporation recommends appropriate caution when applying this part to pre-painted siding.
