Installation Aids

OSJ Series

The Off Stud Joiner is manufactured specifically for fiber cement siding. The 1-1/4” overlap saves additional installation time and by not joining directly over the stud you can eliminate corner breakout. The joiners creates a solid backing behind the joint producing a better caulk line and holds the bottom edge in line to provide a clean shadow line. Choose the square edge for all fiber cement siding and James Hardie HZ10 siding. Choose the angled edge for James Hardie HZ5 siding.

QC Series

The Quick Clip, an improved version of the Aligning Clip, offers even easier installation with no visible shelf remaining after installation. The Quick Clips are available for either square edge or angled drip edge siding. The breakaway portion of the clip is removed with three or four quick up and down bending motions. Once the breakaway portion is removed, there is no visible shelf remaining. Since no visible part remains, the Quick Clip is ideal for prefinished siding applications.

SA Series

Aligning clips are designed for use with all makes of 5/16” cement fiber square edge and hardboard siding that requires a 1-1/4” overlap. The clips can significantly reduce installation time, and effectively reduce the number of workers required to install the siding, resulting in rall job cost savings. Each clip gauges the 1-1/4” set, while providing a shelf for the next lap to rest on while nailing. Aligning Clips are manufactured using G-90 galvanized steel, prime coated for easy painting. Once installed and painted, the small portion of the clip that is left exposed is virtually invisible. No part of the clip covers the exposed face of the siding.
